Recently, my son's friend announced her pregnancy to close friends and immediate family. Among the congratulatory messages and joy, she jokingly told KC to ask me for parenting advice. He responded seriously, informing her that I could write her a book and she agreed. She paid me what I consider the highest compliment-- I want to raise a kid just like Krishna. Her suggestion and title, How To Make a Krishna, I'll undertake in earnest. I'll begin with the preliminary measures such as nutrition and exercise, internal work or what we refer to as shadow work in addition to the spiritual enrichment.
